on trousers/dungarees or measured at the waist of the boiler suit.

Please note:
Protection pursuant to DIN 14404 is only guaranteed if worn in combination with the above mentioned items. If the product is worn in
connection with another product or a competing product, the protection required in accordance with EN 14404 cannot be guaranteed.
Please observe the labelling on the knee pads when inserting them into the intended knee pockets. The honeycombed side of the knee pads
must face to the front, away from the body. To avoid venous refl ux of the legs and to ensure normal blood fl ow the wearers of knee pads
should not kneel constantly but alter their position frequently or stand up occasionally.
Level 1 knee protection is only suitable for work on plane fl oors, which usually do not involve a risk from lying objects of more than 1 cm in
height. An optimum distribution of pressure in accordance with EN 14404 is only achieved if the large hexagon on the front of the knee pad,
which bears the PLANAM logo, covers the patella. Soiling or incorrect use may lower the protective function of the item or suspend it altogether.
